I hate cleaning!

Monday, July 25th, 2005

Yesterday we were having company over for dinner, so of course the house must be spotless for them (..or so says the Wife). Anyhow, I spent about two hours mopping and washing all of the floors, the whole time thinking about the day that the Scooba is released and does this work for me. […]

LG’s Roomba rip-off

Thursday, July 14th, 2005

Found this from Akihabara News:
Looks like LG created their own Rooma-like device. As you can see from the image, it’s remote control, and is also programmable.
I’m actually surprised it took this long for a large manufacturer to create a robot vacuum. I know there are some smaller companies that have made cheap […]

Scooba’s Detergent

Tuesday, July 5th, 2005

Okay, just a quick update about Scooba’s detergent. From iRobot’s website:

“It uses a specially formulated Clorox® cleaning solution”

Let’s just hope this special detergent isn’t extra expensive. And if it is? Who is going to be the first to try out a regular detergent in their Scooba

Scooba: First Look

Monday, July 4th, 2005

Taken from News.com,
The Scooba is a household, robotic floor cleaner designed for hard floors made of materials such as tile and linoleum. It vacuums up loose particles and applies cleaner to soak up dirt, then dries the floor, which also makes it safe for wood.
Hopefully the Scooba lives up to it’s hype. I’m wondering […]
